I am a researcher at the Citizen Security Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). My research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, crime, and public policy. My current work focuses on understanding crime and violence and their socioeconomic impacts, as well as improving the evaluation and implementation of public policies in citizen security and criminal justice. Prior to this, I worked in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting in the private sector, advising clients on regional economic trends and macro-financial scenarios.

I obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Bocconi University in 2019.
